Piping
Piper Phil MacKenzie is a co-founder and Pipe Major of the West Coast Highlanders Pipe Band, as well as the resident piper for the Port Alberni Highland Dancers Association. He has been leading local parades, ceremonies and celebrations for over forty years. Through the pipe band, he offers free instruction to youth and adults alike at the band practise every Wedesday evening. New members are always welcome.
Weddings
 Couples wishing to book a piper for their wedding ceremony anywhere in the central Island region are invited to inquire about availability and costs. Piper Phil will play for any part of the ceremony or reception and has a large repertoire of tunes to choose from. Special requests should be made well ahead.
